Triathlon Experience

I started triathlon in 2013. I first became interested in triathlon when I saw a lot of people running around on Chorley New Road in Bolton. After asking a few people what was going on, I discovered it was Ironman UK. I had a quick research and thought to myself "yeah go on then I can do that!" little did i know triathlon is a pretty tough sport! My first race was Deva triathlon in 2013, my finishing time was 2:40:29 and I finish 611th. In 2017 I went back and did it again finishing in 2:01:03 and I was 13th!

Proudest Triathlon Moment

My best result would have to be 2nd at age group worlds at Rotterdam this year. Before that though, Deva triatlon would have to be my best result and ne of my favourtie races. Well organised, great race course and always a fantastic athmosphere!

2018 Goals

My aims for this year are to be able to perform to a level which will allow me to gain a pro license in the following 2019 season! I'll be trying to do that at Stafford 70.3, ETU middle distance and British middle distance champs.

A Bit About Me

I am currently doing my masters in sports and exercise therapy at Leeds Beckett University. I am also already a qualified Sports Therapist, I decided to do a masters to help increase my knowledge in Injury treatment and Rehabilitation and also maybe one day go into further research. When I'm not at uni or training, I'm normally sat in front of the T.V. trying to complete Netflix.
